Since my last blog on this topic I’ve managed to place many more sound with the scene. Levels still need to be adjusted once we have the music and ambience to go along with it but I feel I’ve finished putting in sounds like breathing/breaths, weapons, grunts/vocals, swooshes, body drops, gory body slices/stabs, and a few more. I’ve also placed the dragon wings, most of the footsteps and fire breathing. We’re yet to come up with the dragon’s roars. It’ll take a bit more work creatively and technically so Bran was planning to look into that this weekend as he’s pretty much finished the SFX placement for his half of the scene. The other sounds I still have to work on are the dragon’s bodily sounds like body and head movements, as well as a few more footsteps and the wind sounds while Daenerys Targaryen and the dragon are flying up into the air.
As mentioned in my last blogpost on ADR, the aim is to have all of these sounds in place by the end of tomorrow (Monday 10/8/15). Then we have the C24 booked for eight hours on Thursday so we can start mixing our sounds with the score and ambience (which Ananda and Lisa re hoping to finish mixing on Tuesday).
